NAUI ITC Program

A) Instructor Training Program (ITP), 8 days where you learn to develop the knowledge and skills to become a NAUI Instructor.
B) Instructor Qualification Program (IQP), 2 days where you get evaluated to be qualified as a NAUI Instructor. The IQP is pass or fail. Areas of evaluation: diving & skin diving skills, teaching abilities (classroom, pool, and open water), swimming abilities, rescue, instructor level knowledge with two modules of written exams. 
Module 1 : rescue, physics, diving medicine, environment, equipment, decompression theory and diving tables. Module 2 : NAUI standards and policies, business of diving, marketing, legal aspect of diving instruction and risk management, teaching methods.
PREP: 2-3 days depending of the number of candidates. Excellent for preparing NAUI leaders for instructor training, mandatory for other agency leaders who want to become NAUI instructors, e.g. PADI and SSI divemasters, CMAS 3* divers, CMAS 1* instructor. Theory, teaching methods, general diving and skin diving skills, rescue and NAUI leadership skills are involved in the prep-training process.
