MV Jonathan Cruiser

With visibility ranging between 25 and 40 metres you have a lot of opportunity to enjoy the underwater scenery surrounding you. Huge granite rocks form exciting swimthroughs and gardens of soft coral, big seafans and schools of tropical fish are there for you to experience. Whitetip reef sharks, leopard sharks and big groupers are common dive buddies. Due to the beautiful scenery above and the unique marine life below the surface, the Similans were declared a Marine National Park in 1982.

Richelieu Rock is located 90 kms north of the Similans. The journey is well worth the effort, because this site has for many years been known to be a great place for big fish encounters. Frequently manta rays and whale sharks are to be seen. Marine life is abundant - big schools of groupers and mackerel are circling around the reef which is completely covered by multicoloured hard and soft corals.

Koh Tachai and Koh Born are located in between the Similans and Richelieu Rock, and are known for amazing soft coral gardens. Also here the impressive whalesharks and manta rays are frequently encountered
