NAUI Diving Courses in Kumamoto, Japan.

Consult Dive International will be active in southern Japan by the spring of 2002. You will then be able to train with one of the most experienced instructors in Asia. We will develop NAUI divers' education among the foreign expatriate population in the regions of Kumamoto, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima on Kyushu. We will be tying up with a very known NAUI facility in southern Japan. All courses will be taught in English and / or French. All Japanese divers willing to further their education or get started with scuba diving as a new fun activity are welcome to join our courses. An intermediate or upper intermediate knowledge of English or French will be required to join any courses. All educational materials will be provided in English or Japanese if needed.
Our goal is to enable international divers to get started with scuba diving or keep up their education in the local environment. Why should you spend 4 days of your hard earned holidays to train in the tropics, as you could learn to dive at your own pace in your own familiar environment? Our internationally known Course Director, Frederick Claro (see below), twice the winner of the prestigious NAUI Outstanding Service Award (2000 and 2001) can train you at any level from beginner to Instructor Trainer. He can train you in the Kumamoto region, and then we will send you to dive the stunning Asian coral reefs. We believe that this option will maximize your safety and pleasure while getting you into a great local activity: scuba diving!
Our pledge to you is quality diving training, fun, and to help you keeping diving  locally and abroad, through our extensive operator network.

The following NAUI courses are available in the Kumamoto region from April to September: Passport (try scuba) Diver Program, Scuba Diver (beginner) course, Advanced Diver Course, First Aid and CPR Course, Oxygen Provider Course, Rescue Diver course, and Master Diver course.
We will also run NAUI leadership courses such as Assistant Instructor and Divemaster courses, and 2 NAUI Instructor Training Courses (ITC) per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Interested parties must be certified dive leaders from a recognized agency and have a minimum of 70 logged dives.
All course prices include: training, books and manual(s), educational materials, equipment, tanks and air fills, pool fees, certification fees, local dive sites transfers, and recognition materials upon course completion.
