Hurghada is situated on the
mainland of Egypt, south of Cairo in the direction of Sudan. It is one of the
best diving destinations in the Red Sea and is complementary of the great dive
spots of Sharm el Sheikh and Dahab, where wall diving is more common. Hurghada underwater landscape is mainly constituted of isolated drop offs off the shore, plunging to great depth and gathering an incredible marine life, growing on the coral structure and also attracting a lot of the pelagic life of the region. For divers willing to really get the best idea of the Red Sea, we would advise a combination of a Sharm, Dahab package followed by a dive package in Hurghada. The visibility in Hurghada is very good and the surrounding waters are a real paradise for underwater naturalists, photographers and videographers alike. |
